Perfect for composition, drawing, perspective and painting techniques. Bring your own sketching supplies and paints. Diana is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society, and teaches sketching as an artist in residence at Yosemite. Anyone 80 years or older is free!

Drop-ins available only if minimum is met. Drop-ins must pre-register with the recreation office.

NEW! The Mindful Eye in Camera Phone Photography

Instructor: Trudi Unger

Taught by award-winning photographer Trudi Unger, participants learn how to bring their individuality and unique perspective to photos taken with their camera phones/smartphones. New apps and filters are showcased to further creativity, and handouts provide specific resources/websites. This workshop is good for participants with little or no formal photography training. Participants must have a working knowledge of their camera phone/smartphone mechanics. Please bring your phones.

Trudi Unger is an award-winning professional photographer & educator. She teaches photography at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco & has writen a weekly photography column for the SF Chronicle. She also founded and was artistic director of a year - long photography mentoring program for the United Cerebral Palsy organization.
