Is your child a shaker and a mover? Here is a chance to harness some of that energy in a constructive, creative way. Mr. Ryan Davis, 3rd grade teacher from Bel Aire School, is starting a dance class for all interested 3rd to 6th grade students. The class will be done in the performance workshop style, with a culminating piece(s) to be performed on the last day of class. The styles of dance taught range from hip-hop to ballroom, with a focus on "pop culture" songs and movement. Students will help select the song for their performance piece(s). There will also be videos for them to practice at home for their part in the big show!
