Hiking Adventures for Women

Now is a magical time to hike Marin. Connect with nature to rejuvenate, replenish and nurture yourself. Have fun exercising in the beauty of nature, and meet other women who appreciate the outdoors. We will explore Marin's most magnificent hiking trails with abundant waterfalls, magical redwood forests, majestic mountains, winding creeks and rolling hills. Quite often we spot deer, elk, owls, bobcats and foxes. The hikes are moderately challenging and average 4 to 6 miles. Participants need to be in good health and able to hike at a twenty-five minute mile pace. For easier hikes, see her ad "LEISURE WALKS IN MARIN". Schedule and directions to trailheads are given at time of registration. Enrollment is limited.

Fee: $75 4 weeks

NEW! Beginning Mountain Bike Clinic

Instructor: Ray Storm

This clinic will focus on mountain bike fundamentals with set drills designed for individuals in a group setting. Students will learn cornering, braking, climbing, looking ahead and popups/drop offs. The goal of this clinic is to gain confi dence on the bike and skills to succeed at mountain biking.

Ray Storm is a professional Mountain Bike racer. He is currently ranked in the U.S. by USA Cycling. Ray competes in Cross Country, Short Track, Super D and Endurance events

NEW! Intermediate Mountain Bike Clinic

Instructor: Ray Storm

This advanced skills clinic is for riders with several years of riding experience. The skills and lessons will be learned on Mountain bike rides, the base of which will be fitness. Students of this class will need to have basic fitness and be able to ride consistently for 2-3 hrs. Bring lunch and lots of water. You must be able to transport self to mountain location.
