DJ 101

Instructor: Curt “Moose” Jackson
Grades 7-9

Participants will learn how to set-up and use mobile DJ equipment (including the speakers, mixer, microphone and lights), the rules of song selection and how to interact with a crowd. When participants have completed the class they will get the opportunity to partner up with another DJ and play music at one of our events, earning community service hours.

Babysitting Class

Instructor: CPR ETC.
Ages: 11 - 15

Become a certified babysitter! This four hour course is designed for pre-teens and teens interested in learning how to care for younger children. You will learn how to administer first aid, diapering and feeding techniques, handling bedtime issues, interviewing for a babysitting job, choosing safe, age appropriate toys/games and much more. Each participant will receive a certificate of course completion.

NEW! Street Magic

Instructor: Curt “Moose” Jackson
Grades 6-9

Have you ever wanted to learn street magic? You’ll learn the same kind of magic that David Blaine performs on his TV specials. Street magic is great because you can perform it anywhere. Everything you need will fit in your pocket or back pack. Amaze your friends and family and have a great time learning the tricks that made David Blaine and other street magicians famous. All supplies are included.

NEW! Improv Class

Grades 6-9

This fun class is full of improv games and exercises. These games and exercises are designed to:

• Improve Decision-Making Skills

Middle School Lunchtime Activities

In partnership with Del Mar Middle School, Belvedere-Tiburon Recreation will provide recreation activities during lunchtime throughout the school year. The goal of this partnership is to facilitate productive time during the student’s lunch break. Some of the activities offered include basketball, bingo, board games, tournaments and much more!
